Consultation

We are currently in the early stages of engaging with the host authority (East Riding of Yorkshire Council), statutory bodies, local representatives, landowners, and near neighbours on the project.​

We are undertaking a range of preliminary site surveys and initial assessments to identify any constraints and issues and to inform project design development, in addition to any mitigation measures that we will include.​

In tandem with this work, we will engage with the council, local representatives, landowners, and near neighbours on the project. Later this year, we will hold a full public consultation on the plans.

Our approach to engagement and consultation on the project will comply with four key pillars:​

  1. Early & Ongoing​

    Ensure consistent stakeholder engagement throughout the pre-application stage of the project ​

  2. Appropriate​

    Ensure conversations are meaningful and targeted providing stakeholders with all necessary information

  3. Open & Transparent ​

    Ensure we are open and transparent about our proposals and timelines, with all relevant details being readily available alongside changes and updates being communicated clearly

  4. Timely ​

    Ensure relevant stakeholders have the right level of detail at each stage of the project for engagement to be informed and meaningful
